Quilting Cuddle
January 20, 2026 As we head into a new year I'm excited to think about all the fun, new projects to look forward to in the upcoming year! One of the things I'm most excited about is trying out the new fabric that Moda is now offering. It's a "quilting cuddle" fabric that has evolved from a collaboration with Moda and Shannon Fabrics. Many of you are familiar with the traditional "cuddle" that has been around for years and makes an excellent cuddly backing for quilts. But

Two Of My Most Favorite Things!
December 20, 2025 Merry Christmas!!!! In keeping with the Christmas spirit I thought it might be appropriate to share two of my "favorite things" with all of you. Let's Salvage Those Selvages!!!
September 21, 2025 I always have a bin or two of those on hand, I can't seem to bring myself to just cut them off and throw them away. I have to admit that right now, I have over two huge bins of selvages just sitting on my shelf begging to be used. Life gets busy and there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do but I am way past due to make another selvage project. I'm thinking about making a bag of some sort. I thoroughly enjoy working w
